DIY Shoe Clips

Got 30 seconds to spare? Need a new accessory? Well then do I have the make for you! This one is so simple that even a child could do it, but the results it yields are oh so pretty!

You need: strong glue, 2 paper clips, and a pair of unwanted earrings.

I brought these earring for £2 from a charity shop. I can't wear them as earrings because I don't have my ears pierced, but I really liked the design so brought them anyway with the hopes that I would find a project for them.
Haven't got any earrings you want to use? That's okay! Think outside the box! Why not use matching brooches, make ribbon into bows, or use sew on patches. The possibilities are endless!

Step one: Remove the hooks from the earrings.

Step two: Turn the earrings over and put a big blob of glue on the back.

Step Three: Slightly open up the paper clips and stick them to the back.

Well, okay, I was a little misleading earlier, because the WHOLE make takes a bit longer than 30 seconds. You only need 30 seconds to actually DO anything, the rest is just a waiting game for the glue to dry.

After the glue is dry, just close up the paper clip a little and you are ready to slip them onto your shoes.
A little tip, if you are planning to wear them on peep toes, slip them into the TOE side of your shoes, that way they don't get in your way at all.

Don't you think the shoes look so much better with them than without? And the best part is, it's so easy to slip them off and put them on another pair.

All done!

Total cost: £2
Total time spent: 30 seconds to make, an hour to dry.
